The Elvis Sandwich

No, I didn't invent the name, this sandwich has been around since, you guessed it, the Elvis era. The food got its name from Presley's fondness of peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

The Elvis sandwich basically consists of 3 simple ingredients: peanut butter, banana and bacon. We could say bacon was just added since accounts didn't mention it as an Elvis favorite but hey, who doesn't like bacon?

I recreated the Elvis Sandwich and gave it a little twist. In addition to the three basic elements, you will need sugar, cinnamon and cooking oil for frying.

Okay, I don't have bacon so I'm gonna be using spam. That's a shame, huh? To make things worse, I contacted Ludy after realizing that she will have free ad placement on this post but bitch won't give me money. Just kidding (^0^) Moving on...

Fry your bananas (any kind will do) in the same oil you used to fry your bacon (spam). Just slightly brown each side for 1-2 minutes (if you're gonna be using saba, you will need to fry it longer but hey, ain't nobody got time for that) then take them off the pan and sprinkle on some sugar and cinnamon. Let your bananas rest so the flavors will marry then cut them into half inch pieces and arrange them on your sliced bread. You can use any type of bread. You can toast the bread if you want to. In my version, I also added a slice of cheese. Just like those "Call Me Maybe" videos in YouTube - messy and they don't make any sense but the important thing is it tastes delicous.

So there you go, a very tasty sandwich. If you will have a sandwich named after you, what will be in it?

Corned Tuna Kimchi Sandwich

Everyone in our family loves corned tuna and kimchi so I decided to share my Kimchi sandwich recipe made healthier with San Marino Corned Tuna!

So what do we need here:
2 tablespoonful of San Marino Corned Tuna
1 small fresh cabbage leaf (boiled or as is)
1 tablespoon of Chinese Cabbage Kimchi
sandwich spread
mustard
salt or sugar to taste (optional)

Okay so let's get started! =)
Spread one slice of bread (or both) with sandwich spread then arrange the cabbage as shown above. Make sure that your cabbage is drained very well if you had them boiled.
then top the cabbage with San Marino corned tuna and on top of that, arrange your favorite Chinese Cabbage kimchi brand. Make sure they are also drained very well, otherwise you will end up having a soaking wet sandwich! =)
Then finally drizzle a good amount of mustard, salt and/or sugar to your desired taste!

Protein from corned tuna, vitamins and cholesterol-lowering benefits from cabbage and kimchi, etc. This easy to make and healthful sandwich is definitely an energy booster!
